About David Morgan
David Morgan is the Principal at Blue Mountain Academy. He also is a teacher. He first worked at BMA from 2005-2007 as Vice Principal, and then later became the Principal in 2012. He teaches Leadership and Vocational Ethics.
David attended BMA as a student and graduated in 1981. He obtained a B.S. in Elementary Education from Columbia Union College (now Washington Adventist University) and a M.Ed. with an emphasis in Leadership at Andrews University.
He has two children, Richard (BMA Class of 2009) and Melissa (BMA Class of 2009).
David has long had a passion that young people be given an opportunity to grow in a safe, non-judgemental environment where their mistakes are used as stepping stones and not definitions of who they are. He feels privileged to serve in a capacity that allows him to help them discover that their awesome God has redeemed them and called them by name!
He says, “BMA has helped me grow in my ability to articulate what God means to me and how I am defined, not by my flaws, but by the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.”
