About Eric Engen
Eric Engen is a Music/Computer/Aviation teacher and the PowerSchool administrator at Blue Mountain Academy. He is also the IT administrator for the school computer network. He started working at BMA in 2002. He teaches Advanced Computers and Private Pilot Ground School. He is also the director of the La Sonnette Handbell Ensemble.
He received a BA from Columbia Union College (now known as Washington Adventist University) and an MA from Andrews University.
He believes that God called his family to come to BMA; the opportunities for teaching seemed to be a perfect fit for his and his wife’s skills. He feels dedicated to helping BMA in the outreach that it does to bring students closer to God, as well as help students realize the full potential of their leadership skills. He is married to Diana Engen, who is the Registrar at BMA, and they have two children who are BMA Alumni.
