Matt Anderson is the Food Service Director for Blue Mountain Academy.
He started at Blue Mountain in 2002 as a task force food service worker a newly created position that was crafted to train him in directing food service. He then returned in 2004 after finishing his certification and has been blessed to be here since.
He has a certification in Food Service Management from the Adventist Food Service Association. He has a current Servsafe Food Handlers permit and a Servsafe Food Manager License.
He believes God has guided him and uses him at BMA. He says “Our motto is, To Serve More Than Food…. Meaning that above all we serve, or are servants to, God. I pray that He shines through my staff and me.”
Matthew’s most fantastic wife, who he met in 2005 at BMA, Lauren also works at BMA as the Art teacher. They have two children Ian (4 years old) and Vivian (1 year old).
